We are setting a working party of innovation agitators who are prepared to go to bat to create an innovation standard. No it is not an oxymoron. It is a necessity that will result in far greater creativity and better results for everyone.
People are afraid of embracing innovation because it is undefined, not easily measurable and perceived as risky. The goal is to take risk out of innovation by making it a set of daily, routine tasks, which doesn't affect creativity at all. It scientifically proven that people are more creative and come up with ideas much faster if they operate within guidelines.
