VastPark is more than a single virtual world or social network. Instead, it is a scalable and secure platform that can be deployed behind the firewall, hosted or run on a cloud service.
The VastPark platform has 3 component platforms: The VastSocial platform supporting our powerful Community of Practice software (Teamflex), the VastWorlds virtual world platform (including our highly extensible plugin framework) and the VastEvents platform (NEW) that provides instant-access virtual worlds to all kinds of devices. With our platform's extensibility, your developers (or ours) can integrate your various systems into a new virtual world and web-based community of practice portal that can be designed to best suit your organization's needs.
No vendor lock-in
The VastWorlds virtual worlds platform is the only true "open platform" amongst the vendor-backed platforms available today. What does this mean? We use open data formats; we provide open specifications so that none of our formats lock you in and our platform utilizes existing standards where available & effective (for example, Collada, XML, REST, HTTP); and we provide functional open source code implementations of the virtual world server and client.
